What Can You Do Right Now To Keep Students Safe At School?

May 01, 2018

We’re only five months into 2018 and there have been 22 school shootings across the U.S. where someone was hurt or killed. That averages out to more than 1 shooting a week. Parents, teachers, school faculty and community leaders can no longer deny the very real threat of a school shooting affecting the lives of their children and students. That’s why we are on a mission to help make a difference and provide a solution to schools RIGHT NOW.

While politicians, regulatory agencies, ‘experts’, the media, law enforcement, the courts and school districts continue to squabble over the causes and remedies for these attacks – you can join us and help make a difference by participating in our Shield Our Schools or S.O.S. Initiative.  Through Shield Our Schools, we are suppling individual classrooms and districts with the leading classroom safety and door barricade device known as SwiftShield.

SwiftShield is the fastest, easiest and most secure way to lockdown a classroom in an active shooter or emergency situation. It can be used by anyone in a matter of seconds and doesn’t require any special training or certification. SwiftSheild also does NOT require any special modifications to existing doors and has does not require expensive or special parts to use it.

With SwiftSheild, teachers and students will no longer have to build barricades out of classroom furniture. In an active shooter situation, they can be protected in their classroom until help arrives. For teachers and students, SwiftShield adds a layer of protection. For parents, SwiftShield adds peace of mind.

While individuals argue over what needs to be done in the future to stop school shootings from happening, we can collectively ensure that teachers and students are safe in schools by getting a SwiftShield in each classroom. Get started by nominating a school or share this information with your school to get others involved.
